By far the easiest-to-use one is Carista. It's a mobile app and works with generic cheap ELM327 OBD dongles. But it only does coding on CAN-based cars, i.e. mid-2007 and newer E-models.
Other than that, if you're feeling adventurous, you can try NCS Expert on a 32-bit version of Windows, which can do it on any E-chassis car with the correct cable (and effectively, that's what this thread is about).
