I though it sounded rubbish when they said it! . I did question the specialist about bmw releasing software which had issues, that isn’t good practice. I’m starting to assume it was incompetence may have caused the problem.....

I should have just took it straight to the dealer looking back now, I’ve used a few ‘specialists’ over the past 10 years and there has always been some isssue with something they have done.

Hopefully I can get the CIC repaired and updated for the same cost the dealer would have charged .
