Did it work after turning the car off and back on? My car did a similar thing once where the screen just stayed black and I couldn't use any menus but once I turned off the car (and electronics and everything) and turned everything back on it was normal and haven't seen anything happen since. I just assumed since it is a computer and computers do weird things like that sometimes that nothing was wrong.
