Have you spent any time on the X5 forum? Consider that most people come on these forums to solve problems. I'm guessing you'll see much of the same on the X5 forum.
Anecdotal aside - Whenever I'm at the dealer for service, I'm always amazed at how many X5's are in the service bays.
