I see several people mentioning great success with batteries other than OEM. I switched my battery as well through an indie shop and had everything coded, I assume.
I have about 2 months on the battery, and so far I've noticed that the first start of the day is a strong one. But, if I happen to go to the store or any short drive and stop, the next crank is a bit weak. Sometimes even a pause during the starting process. I just took it to the dealer for an oil change and to bring up an AC issue to them and they said they cannot do any diagnostics without an OEM battery because any number of issues could be because the battery is aftermarket.
