I prevously owned two e21's and two e36 and I knew that the e21 mounts are superior but the studs a little wider and not a direct swap.
Since I have a todller running around I decided to look for a direct replacment that will not require removing the transmision lower bracket to drill out the mounting holes 2mm wider.
So I start looking at various transmisions mounts made for BMW's from the 80's and found one that quickly caught my eye.
Was bulky and square like so will not bent like the over priced m3 mounts.
It costs about $3 and the part # is 23711175939
The install went smooth. I didn't even remove the plastic liner under the car.
We have few nice DIY on transmission mount so I won't write and new one.
I'll just say that the mounts didn't introduce any vibrations at all but they improved how the shifter feels like going through the gears.
I've the short BMWPerformance lever so that make a small difference too.
Here are few photos of the mounts.
