I am no mechanic but I don't think its the turbos. I have a BMW X3 loaner right now, and I was turning left and there was traffic coming in the opposite direction but I had enough time to make it. I pressed the gas about half way down and it hesitated for about 2 seconds, or it felt like 2. I had been reading the forums and read about lag issues and throttle response. The X3 has the 3.0L engine in it. I then tried to duplicate it in a parking lot exact same thing happens. There is definitely an issue with throttle response. I hope someone like myself or a family is making a left turn when they go to give it gas and nothing happens and someone t-bones them, maybe BMW will realize they have a problem. I have yet to drive mine but when I do I will definitely be calling them if I can recreate the issue in mine. BTW mine is an 03/08 build or later.
