2006 E91 with ZF auto - should I replace solenoids when servicing transmission?
My car is an early production 2006 with 187k miles, and shifting is becoming more rough, and throws an occasional transmission code. I am going to do a transmission service soon, replacing mechatronic seals, plan, and fluid. Given that I will have the valve body off the car to do the seals, is it worth also replacing the mechatronic solenoids preemptively? Seems worthwhile to me. Thoughts?
