Thanks I'll do that. I was worried that there might be some water still in the pump and didn't want that to mix with the fluid. Just wanted to confirm if anyone else had done it.
Also how do you guys dispose of the water you washed the pump with? I'm guessing it shouldn't be put into the drain system like other fluids....
