This is exactly why the C6 Corvette is so ridiculously good, it's got 400/400, so it feels like the 335i's, 300/300, only moreso. I know it has to do with weight and consumption and huge displacement vs small displacement and high revs, but if they managed to get the C6 25 mpg, why can't BMW make a NA V8 that's got a closer ratio? Makes me wonder.

That said, this is why I love the 335 engine.

And before you flame me out the door, yes I know the C6 has a cheap plastic interior and no back seats. But seriously, that engine is something else.
