VP, what were your noise symptoms when using the ixos gamma balanced twisted pair rca?

I am using that very cable and have some slight noise-

no noise when engine on and radio off. Turn on radio at 0 and no noise. Turn vol to +1 and you can hear some faint background electrical noise. Not audible at all as soon as you get over like +5 volume (and i listen at around 24/25) , but if i can eliminate it completely then it makes for a better install.

Were these your symptoms with this interconnect cable?

If so i'll change it out before i start chasing my tail!


Whilst this cable is branded "twisted pair" its not technically twisted- there is an inner seperating run- so whilst the cables are twisted they are not actually fully touching all the time...i was just wondering if this could be the source of noise..... easy fix if so lol but it could just be floor noise - i am not that experienced in floor noise to know what it sounds like.
