I don't want to beat a dead horse, but this is my first ever DIY project, so I want to be sure. I have an LCI e90 (2009) looking to retrofit the sport wheel.

I bought a sport steering wheel(no airbag/paddles) off ebay. It looks to be genuine. Is it ok to use a sport airbag from a 2008 e93 model? I looked at the e93's VIN and it mentions nothing about the steering bag recall that many people were mentioning. Should I go for it, or wait for an LCI e90's airbag? Will the airbag connectors be the same?
