Depends if you want to color match all your lighting colors, but i'd go with the 6000K since I like that little hint of blue. But go 5K if you want pure white but I think it has a hint of yellow, really depends on the brand.

I haven't had much experience shooting with a Nikon but I did not like my D70 when I had it. Plus I have several Canon lens so I'm looking for something in their lineup. Thanks though!!
