Is this purely down to poor fuel economy or the fact that it has such a small fuel tank? Presumably a bit of both.
I'm going to be in the market for an M3 in the near future (realistically after my wedding in December). I keep hearing the fuel economy on the e9X is terrible and that is one of the big things that's making me lean towards an e46 instead. But just how bad are we talking and is it that much worse than the e46?
My commute is 15miles (in total).
I know these things are never going to be an economical daily driver, but if that's what I was looking for in a car then I would've held on to my 320d.
