Limp Mode and Cooling Codes

Hey folks, first thread here.

I’ve got a problem with my 2008 328i manual.

Starting a few days ago, the throttle response took a nose dive, like taking half a second to register any input. After it registers, the engine feels low on power making it difficult to shift properly. The fuel economy has also dropped significantly.

After reading the codes, I have a 2EFE and 2EF5 for the thermostat and cooling fan along with a few others not related to the engine.

Am I correct in thinking the fan isn’t working due to the thermostat being stuck open and non functional? And is there any way I test the fan using bimmerlink or bimmercode?

I’ve attached the error codes read yesterday. Thanks in advance!
