"The converter is redesigned to last longer for performance applications than the original, with increased performance and gas mileage through a more efficient flow of power from the engine to the transmission. This TQ converter is mechanically setup tighter than the stock TC. It has an upgraded captive clutch with an 80% increase in holding capacity. The stator is replaced with one for performance to transfer the TQ. Expect use-able power gains of 10-15% in the TQ ramp in rate. What I mean by TQ ramp in rate is TQ requested by throttle input. You get to use a lot more of the total TQ sooner throughout the throttle range."
