It's not that difficult at all. I'm in the same boat as you. I don't know how to do stuff like this - but I did it. Just be very careful when removing clips because they tend to break easily. If you break 'em, than you have to buy new clips so the dealer won't suspect your tampering with the ECU. You need to learn how to do it because it needs to be done when going in for warranty service. If they ever decide to look inside the ECU, your warranty could get voided.

In any event, just set aside a time when you know for sure you won't need your car for the entire day or possibly the next day. That way if you DO mess up or need help (which can be obtained right here at the forum) you'll be prepared...
