Around 5-10 minutes with google brought me to a couple of posts where people share casually that LCI xenons seem to fire up faster than pre-LCI. This different design or new capability might be key to whether they can be used for "flash to pass" from off. I haven't found anything official on possible LCI design changes yet.
Are the inner lights in LCI assemblies "cornering lights" then, and the AEs to DRL?
