Well, I feel like a bit of an arse, today I took the covers off the engine, and found I'd trapped the injector wires for cylinder 5 between the inlet manifold and the head.
I've freed them off and completed a temporary repair to get me mobile again, but it's going to need a new injector wiring loom - basically all the money saved on doing this myself - poof! gone!
