I know exactly how you feel! I'm not a runner myself but volunteer to work the finish line to remove the timing chips from the runners....it is not a pleasant sight seeing all these people in agony after they complete the race. I've also heard that putting your fingers in a vise and tightening the screws is almost as pleasurable...
