If you don't have a radiator leak, it's the water pump. BMW pumps are known for self-destructing around 100K miles give or take. A lot of shops will strongly recommend pre-emptive replacement at the 100K mile service, if it's still the original pump.
No need to take it to the dealer, though. Use an indy BMW shop.
