So I have been searching all through the forum and I just want to make sure of what is needed to install an aftermarket HU and relocate the OEM HU to the trunk. I have seen a couple different options and would really appreciate the help in knowing exactly what to get. Below I listed what I've seen.
- Metra 70-9003 w/ Metra 71-9003
- I also saw that it would be needed to buy the optical wire to add to the metra 71-9003
- There were a couple different Connects2 options but it seems like everything comes with this one part number CTSBM009.2
- LC-BMRC-01 w/ ASWC-1
Those were the main things I've been seeing. I am wanting to keep all the chimes, SOS, warning lights and OEM HU for software updates. Would the connects2 be able to do all that with just the one part number? Is one of those options better than the other? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
