Couple questions about the MOST and CANBUS in relation to relocating the head unit.
1. Does it matter where in the MOST ring the headunit is connected? i.e. does it have to be right after the diagnostic plug in the driver's footwell?
2. Is the CAN bus a fully parallel connected bus? In other words can I connect the OEM head unit anywhere I can tap CAN-H and CAN-L? I'm asking because it looks like the CAN signals are in a harness near the right rear shock tower where the PDC would be located. Thinking it might easier to tap that vs. running wires all the way from the front console.
