Take a look at post 52 in this thread.

It shows which pins are CAN-L and CAN-H.
*** But *** make sure it's the same on your car.
I'm not sure if BMW moved CAN-L and CAN-H around on different models and years.
The newtis diagram should show which wires are the CAN signals.
For example here's the diagram for 335 sedans

The wire colours will be Green (CAN-L) and Orange/Green (CAN-H).
