That won't work, a used transmission can't just be flashed to the car via winkfp. ISN needs to be changed and that be changed with some generic tool. I recommend who ever needs it done to find someone that can do it for them, the job isn't super DIY

Those are literally the steps that I did to code mine after putting in a used trans from a 2009 335xdrive to my 07 335xi. I verified in the UIF of INPA before the flash that it said the other cars vin for the transmission ecu and after the flash it had my vin in the UIF. Only after doing that my car behaved normally and displayed the correct gears on the dash. |
Correct, e9x chassis used transmissions can be coded and flashed to the. Car but e70 has different transmission that requires ISN to be changed and standard tools cannot do that unfortunately.
