IMHO, you wasted $10 on finishing pads. I never apply sealants with polisher/pad. At the point of needing to apply them, my baby is already nice and clean, and I want to feel her smooth skin so I apply with my palm and finger tips. Taking the wedding ring off, I am nearly positive I won't add any marks with the hand. Its also a great final inspection time.
