Interesting thread..... let me add a noob question to it:
The M3 has flared fenders, which I always thought was to accommodate a wider track. Where does the wider track come from? The suspension or just wheel width and offset?
From this conversation I'm guessing it's from the wheels since it sounds like the suspension is the same regarding control arm lengths and such.
