BUT, your graph is misleading, unfortunately. The Y axis starts from 150 which increases the gap between the before/after graphs. I would say there is no need to exaggerate with the marketing...
R&D takes time. Anyone can release a DP for the 1 and 3-series with the N55 engine in 3 days but may not fit correctly or have quality issues.

Why are you looking at the gaps anyway, that doesn't tell you much. The gains is what you should be after. If ift were for pure marketing we would have used a Dynojet to show even higher numbers.
