My bad, I read your instructions wrong and a follow up post made me believe something else.

I agree that fixing the seal is the right thing to do, but under the condition where the window is frozen and wont lower I literally cannot close my door because it is catching the metal frame by a mm or two.

This would also mean that under a condition where my window stops working, such as a blown fuse, I will not be able to close my door. This doesn't sound right to me so I'm assuming it needs to be adjusted.

I suspect adjusting the angle inward a little bit will provide enough clearance.

Now, you can open the car door without lowing the window and it won't catch the frame. Such as if I were to pull my battery, and then open my car door. So this tells me that something probably isn't aligned and by design it's intended to be able to be opened and closed with out the automatic dropping. The glass shouldnt smash up against the door frame. I don't believe so anyway.
