I have read this and other blogs. I have even read the following article.

So, what is Dakota leather? Is it a lower grade of semi aniline leather (similar to Nappa) that is corrected grain and sealed and imbossed?

I have a leather care kit that came with my leather sofa/loveseat. The cleaner in the kit says it is safe for aniline, suede, and nubuck leather. The conditioner is safe for Semi aniline, nubuck, suede and naked leather.

Are they safe for my Dakota leather in my 2006 325xi?

Will any cleaner or conditioner penetrate the polymer sealer in the Dakota leather seats? The paint sealers that have a polymer PREVENT contaminates from attacking the paints clearcoat.
