I've seen this before. The map update process only looks at the very first partition on the USB stick and more than likely your USB stick has another partition (maybe even hidden) before the partition with the maps.
This is quite common with USB sticks with encryption options or passwords.
Two choices, use something like Rufus to remove all partitions from the USB stick. IF that doesn't work, try a different brand. |
I have no partition and it still doesn't work. I'm using lexar brand USB sticks. What brand do you use?
