hi yes about 2.5 years ago, but it seems it made the thing worse and it slowly degraded. it might be because the oil was not zf or even that adaptations were not reset, i don't know.
however, there might be host of other problems as well. anyway, this is the worst repair because only the mechanic can see what's wrong and i bet once he take it out, he will quote u maximum he can, albeit be it good and in a need of a new oil or so....as i said, i will drive it slowly till it dies and then i will buy a second hand transmission....
