New to the forum, also new to all things iPod/iPhone having just bought a 3GS.
My 2007 E90 Touring has bluetooth and the USB/Aux input in the centre console (armrest) and I was sold a "Cable Adapter for Apple iPod" from my local dealer (not cheap at £40/$65).
When plugging in, the 3GS states that the cable is not Apple authorised will not charge the unit. I also get interference every 10 seconds where the music will fade out and then back in.
On the plus side, I had no problems pairing the 3GS and all contacts are now available.
Any ideas on the cable/charging/fading issues?
