Battery reset with BT scan tool
I replaced my 5 year old battery with a new one of exactly the same specs. I used the BT scan tool (enthusist version) to reset the car. Works fine. If you change the battery type or capacity from stock, you need to recode the car so it knows about it. You will need the pro version of the BT tool to do that! Good reason to replace the battery with the stock version since the pro BT tool is $700!
