IMO, it would have made more sense to list this amount rather than the "out the door" number since sales tax and registration fees vary in every state and most aren't inclined to research the differences. Sale price is much more relatable.
As for how you did, if you are happy then I'd say you did great. As for me, I wouldn't pay that much for an LCI 328i but it is obvious we have different priorities. Enjoy the car and great color.
