I changed the actuator motor and that did not fix it. Took apart the original motor and yes, the gears are all metal and aren't worn out. Erased all the error codes and tried to run the VTG calibration which gives 54C4 calibration faulty and 54C6 oil wear error codes. There's also a 'status of classification resistor' message showing as 'Invalid'. The resistor was reused from the original actuator.
Any advice why the VTG isn't calibrating? The 3 lights all come on now after the car is started.
