I am running Conti DWS (not a fat tire) and I know if I pushed my wheels out another 2mm they would hit the fender liner and maybe the fender itself going over dips/bumps. There just isn't much in the way of clearance with an ET35. Maybe if you ran a 255/35 tire you could get away with it.

Remember the LCI has a wider rear track so even though ET33 will work on a pre LCI the wider track of the LCI makes it a difficult offset to run on an LCI without modification. There have been more than a few reports/posts on here of LCI owners running ET33 and rubbing under certain conditions.

Here's a pic of my car.
Looks great! I just got my vmr v718's 19x8.5 et35 f and 19x9.5 et45 r mounted on my e90 lci. I went with the et45 in the rear for the safe fit. I would like a more flush look so want spacers in the rears and it seems 10mm would be pretty flush without rubbing. Someone told me from vmr that 10mm spacers don't work well with there wheels an that 5mm and 12mm are the recommended sizes. Not sure what thats about? do u think i could use a 12 in the rear without rubbing? Im also lowered about a finger and a half gap all around an have continental dw 235/35/19 an 265/30/19 tires? thanks
