I've driven both, and yes, there is a pretty obvious difference if you're not running budget rubber.
Ditto on the cold weather paint saving dirtiness.
The touch free does a good enough job to keep me out of embarrassment territory, but I'm dying for a warm enough weekend to get my spring wax on.
