Over the years, my BMW 'verts have collected quite a number of unexpected objects. Dust is a recurring problem, since I almost always end up on dirt roads at some point during a trip. Leaves are common in the fall, of course. I once found a slightly dazed goldfinch in my backseat; he turned out to be fine, thankfully. More than one cat has hopped right in while the car is stationary, with or without the door being open. (Maybe they heard about the goldfinch…)

Oh, and the insects! The praying mantis walking across my dashboard was quite a sight. And the little mouse riding along at the outside base of my windshield. Twice I've seen snakes dangling from tree branches overhead, but (knock on wood) none has dropped in for a visit. Yet!
