Edit: Well, the guy was super nice and while the call result wasn't a surprise, it went better than I anticipated.
I explained the issue and he pulled up my account to confirm I got the update on the car a couple of weeks ago. He said he has not heard of this issue, but that he's happy to document it. He said
if enough people continue to notify them of this same issue, BMW will absolutely take notice. He ended the call by saying it was refreshing to speak with someone that actually knows something about their car, and they rarely get that.
So, bottom line is, if you are less happy with your 29.2 than before your 29.2, CALL THE NUMBER IN THE OP'S POST. It takes 5 minutes or less.
