When I replaced the OEM air filter housing with an AFE twin cone filter intake, the difference was quite noticeable. It was like trying to breathe with your hand over your mouth and nose and then taking it away. The engine response improved as did the power. I already had AR downpipes and a HPF intercooler installed so the effect of the less restrictive intake was more noticeable. Noise levels from the AFE intake are no different to the OEM intake. At the time, I was running A Vishnu Procede V4 with 15 psi boost.
