Crap.
I am scheduled to get a water/meth kit from AEM installed next week. I am also putting in the EGR blocking plates next week. I have four months left on my warranty but I want to get that damn EGR blocked sooner than later. Given that BMW NA has put in the following for over the last 12 months I feel like I have gotten a fair shake from the CPO warranty:
-New transmission
-new wastegate
-new urea tank
-6 new glow plugs
I would be grateful if anyone has some quick words of wisdom on getting a water/meth kit installed. I am using the one from AEM designed for turbo diesels. Any advice on nozzle size, pump location, parameters/sensors controlling injection, tank size/location, reputation of AEM, etc.
