This happens when a tire is mounted on a wheel that is too narrow. Additionally, there would be less sidewall support from a wheel that is too narrow creating sloppier sidewalls, which in turn causes steering response to be less nimble and makes it more difficult to drive a tire at its limits. For street use this may not be an issue, but if one is looking for performance we do recommend the proper tire size and wheel width combination.
How about 255/35/18 on the 18x9 arc-8?

I just tested fitted my rear wheels on the front: 265/35/18 on 18x9.5 and with a 5mm it rubs my ohlins; with a 10mm spacer it pushes out too far and hits my fender. Tires are falkens 452 which I believe run wide, camber is 2.5, car is not dumped.

I want to run 265 square or 265/35 rears and 255/35 fronts. Thoughts?
