On the 2 post you just disengage the locks by hand, and it comes down silently which is great for resisdential use.

On mine no manual disengage.
Why not run your compressor till its cuts, and then close all outlet valves. This leaves a full air tank for the night time lock release, it uses very little air to disengage.
