Total maintenance cost, plus a jacking point and touch up paint comes in at £526.
Insurance just over 700€ per annum. That's fully comp for the whole of Europe (including Uk), any driver over 25, and breakdown cover (with recovery to home) again for the whole of Europe. No road tax in France.
I don't want to think about depreciation. Actually I wrote off the purchase cost when I bought it, so it's not really a factor.
