i admire OP's directness in addressing haters and not getting all out of shape. in fact, i thought the "30k first car" line was well-played.
good luck with the car. you're privileged and seem to acknowledge it (which is MUCH BETTER than the oblivious humble-brag types, IMO). Just wanted to contribute something different than what was already said.
haters will hate because they lived their mediocre lives to barely afford a bmw.
