It works! Warmup was exactly the same as with the OEM thermostat. Oil temperature hovered between 210 and 230 during driving with ambient temperature at around 85F. The higher temps were only seen while sitting still in traffic and while cruising it was pretty steady at 210.

This would be a great compliment to a higher capacity oil cooling system as well as it would allow it to reject more heat sooner rather than relying on the OEM T-stat's higher opening point.
