Pm replied to mate.
In summary I think PRE-LCI are installed with wires spliced into the loom, whereas LCI systems are pretty much plug and play with connectors.
So I do think they work on both PRE-LCI and LCI cars, but you may have to splice some wires.
If anyone has any further info please feel free to update....
