Hi all,

First off all, I'm new to nodding my recently purchased 2008 BMW 316i as my first car.

The navigation system annoyed me from the start from being so outdated, so I ordered a aftermarket head unit that replaces the original screen to a android screen while maintaining all the original features.

The install went fine and everything was ok, but the day after I wanted to turn on the airco and it didnt work. The instructions said to only plug in the lvds connector in the screen, but there's an additional cable that connects to the climate control panel (IHKA)

I have never seen the cable in any other install videos before. (See attachment)

How can I solve this issue? Maybe I'm doing something wrong or missing something

Help will be greatly appreciated!
