I was inspired by a recent post by ethanjoon and decided to color change my interior from Oyster to Cinnamon.
Well, actually I wanted Hazelnut but couldn't find it. Ordered Mocha but thought it was too boring so ordered Cinnamon after that.
Bought everything from the same company, leatherworldtech
Seems like very nice stuff and was easy to spray. (I used a small hvlp touch up gun I bought online)
Overall this job is much more time consuming than I imagined.
Other than a ton of time in disassembly and cleaning I was spraying for 10 hours straight. Was very slow moving doing multiple coats and trying to get in all the corners.
I couldn't separate the inserts from the door panels as they are heavily bonded so ended up sliding poster board under the edges to mask. Worked great and slid out cleanly afterwords.
Really happy with the color, time to start re-assembly.
